    Lamers, Delia M. (nee Van Groll)
    Delia M. (nee Van Groll) Lamers, of Darboy, age 85, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center. Delia was born August 7, 1921, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Evers) Van Groll. On May 21, 1942, she married Gene A. Lamers at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. The couple farmed in rural Kaukauna their entire married lives. Delia enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, playing cards, bingo and sequence. She especially enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    She was a longtime member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.
    She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, Gene, Darboy; their children: Mary Ann (Jerry) Weyenberg, Appleton; Rich "Chet" (Mary) Lamers, Kaukauna; Doris (Gary) Haen, Mesa, AZ; Marlene (Tom) Campbell, Sherwood; Joyce (Gary) Allen, Kaukauna; and Ted (Janice) Lamers, Kaukauna; 21 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her husband's family: Gordon Lamers, Lyle (Helen) Lamers, Jane (Ves) Vosters, Paul (Helen) Lamers, Mary (Jerry) Nackers, Rose (Francis) Schmidt, Frances (Bob) Haen, Emily (Gordon) Vander Wyst, Marcel (Marilyn) Lamers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lamers; a granddaughter, Peggy Sue Lamers; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Henry (Dora) William (Barbara), Joseph (Mary), and John (Martha); two sisters and a brother-in-law: Mary (Anthony) Feldkamp and an infant sister Margaret Van Groll. She was further preceded in death by her husband's family: Ruby (Bob) Turriff, Mary Lamers and Ellen Lamers.
    Funeral Services for Delia will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, and again on Saturday directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A 7:30 p.m. parish prayer service will conclude the evening on Friday. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. 920-766-2099
