    Kay Ann Vandenberg, age 75, of Appleton, passed away on August 18, 2014, at Brewster Village. Kay was born on September 27, 1938, daughter of the late Robert and Marie Bartman. Arrangements are pending with a full obituary to follow. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    9/3/2014;
    On August 18, 2014, Kay Vandenberg moved to her final destination, Heaven, where she will spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
    Kay was born on September 27, 1938, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to the late Robert F. (1973) and Marie E. (2004) Bartman. She married Raymond J. Vandenberg on July 18, 1970; he preceded her in death, June 11, 2000. Kay was a tremendous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and swimming in her younger years. Kay was employed as a secretary for Kimberly Clark Corporation for over 18 years. She was also involved in Women's Aglow for several years.
    Throughout her life, Kay endured many physical and emotional struggles which inhibited her involvement in many official organizations. These struggles allowed her much time to spend with the Lord, reading His Word, and praying which gave her much comfort! Kay was a true prayer Warrior!
    Some of the people Kay left behind were her two daughters: Jessica Vandenberg (fiance' Nick LeVan), Ohio, and his children, Johnny, Kayla and Carolyn; Julie (Todd) Pemper, Prentice, Wisconsin and her sons Teague and Tristan Shoup and step-son, Austin. The surviving siblings of Kay and her older brother, Robert (2011) are: Florence Bartman (wife of Robert), New Holstein; Richard (Shirley) Bartman, Waukesha; Sandy (Norbert) DeGroot, Hofa Park, Wisconsin; Steve (Lois) Bartman, San Bruno, California; Jim (Rose) Bartman, Appleton; and Jeanette (Bill) Harold, Appleton. Last but not least, all of her wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and her dear friends.
    A Celebration of Kay's Life will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street Menasha, Wisconsin. The celebration of Kay's life will include scripture reading and prayer by Pastor David Root, fellowship, singing, and a special request, sharing of and assisting in identifying people in the many photos of Kay's life. Kay has made donations to many charities over the years, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund supporting her favorites. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    Obituary:
    John Frederick Feavel Jr., age 70, of Appleton, passed away late Monday afternoon (June 20, 2016) at Theda care Appleton.
    He was born April 12, 1946 in Appleton the son of the late John and Anna (Stumpf) Feavel. Following graduation from Appleton West High School in 1965, John worked at the shipyards of Sturgeon Bay, then as a radio communications operator/technician out of Appleton, and finally Boldt Construction which was the career he loved and enjoyed for many years until he retired.
    He enjoyed traveling, flying, boating, fishing, hunting, drag racing, anything that he could enjoy with family and friends. He enjoyed working with tractors, restoring and fixing them. Steam engines were another of his pastimes that he enjoyed. John could be found lending a hand at just about any venue that you could imagine, but most of all his family was what kept him going, even if it was to just go eat or as he said to "split a bean". He led an amazing life.
    Those that knew him could say he was a jack of all trades and master of many. Not many people had the knowledge he possessed. He had a kind heart and helped many people through his journey in life.
    His family includes his daughter, Karri (Travis) Olson and their children Logan, Colton and daughter Arianna (due in September) of Plymouth, Wisconsin; brother James Feavel of Appleton, sister Sue (Dennis) Wolfert of Appleton, brother Jeffrey Feavel of Appleton, many nephews & nieces Rob, Scott, Tom, Amy, Randy, Amanda, Danielle, and Perry along with their spouses and children that all made his world a happier place.
    Preceding him in death were his parents John and Anna; two infant children, Roseanne and Frederick.
    Visitation will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home, Superior Street location on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. There will be a memorial service at the funeral home at 3:00PM
    In lieu of flowers a memorials may be sent to 838 Suhrke Road Plymouth, WI 53073.
