    Vanderloop, Margaret Baum, "P eg", AppletonMargaret Vanderloop, faithful wife, mother of four daughters, grandmoth er of 11, great-grandmother of 17, eagerly went home to her dear Lord's Ki ngdom of Heaven on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, just in time to rejoin her belo ved "Tony" for their wedding anniversary. Admired and loved by all that m et her, she was an example of wisdom, never judgmental. For all of h er 97 years, she was the most fun and pleasant person to be with.Peg married Anton Vanderloop on June 25, 1929, and they loved and cherish ed each other for 54 years. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catho lic Church, a member of the Christian Mother's Society of St. Therese a nd St. Joseph, Catholic Knights, Catholic Daughters and the Third Ord er of St. Francis. Peg volunteered for the St. Joseph Food Pantry and S t. Vincent de Paul Society. She was employed by the H. C. Prange Co. in t he cashier's office for many years, retiring in her eighties. Peg was a Pa cker fan, loved to listen to Brewer games, liked to have one Manhattan, w as the best Sheepshead player and took all our money.She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Ed) Mauthe, Tustin; Dorothy (Jac k) Brauer, Oshkosh; Mary (John) Morelli, Oshkosh; An (Ralph) Gehrmann, App leton; her grandchildren, Rick (Linda) Mauthe, Neenah; Peg (James) DeSchep per, Sioux City, Iowa; Jeanne Sprangers (Tom Hammen), Darboy; Michelle (Jo seph) Sieckert, Appleton; Doug (Linda) Brauer, Appleton; Linda (Joe) Meiss ner, Appleton; Kathryn (Roger Baron) Freund, New York City; Kristin (An dy Duda) Freund, Baltimore, Maryland; Julia (David) Hickinbotham, Menash a; and Angela Gehrmann, Menasha.     Raymond Andrew Baum, age 96, died peacefully on Friday morning, September 22, 2017 at his home. He was born October 18, 1920, in Appleton, the son of the late John A. and Katherine (Gengler) Baum.
    Ray attended St. Joseph and St. Therese grade school. He graduated from Appleton High school in 1938. He was united in marriage to Georgiana J. Fischer, on October 23, 1945 at St. Edwards Catholic Church, in Mackville. They were married for 68 years.
    Ray could fix just about anything, in particular he was very good at clock repairs and he became very proficient at scroll saw projects. He was a volunteer fireman on the original crew for the Grand Chute Fire Department, on Hwy OO and also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul. He retired from Giddings and Lewis in Kaukauna, where he was a respected machinist and machine demonstrator. Ray enjoyed spending time at the cottage on his pontoon boat with his family and friends.
    Ray is survived by his loving children: Georgiana (Dennis) Gauerke, Hortonville; Joseph (Sandy) Baum, Montello; Marilyn (David) Whiteside, Pueblo, CO; Nicholas (Kathy) Baum, Appleton; Patricia (Lee) Bishop, Shawano, 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Rosemary Probst. He was further preceded in death by his wife, Georgiana; a son, Peter; three brothers: Fr. Pete, George, and Vince; and a sister, Margaret.
    The mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 AM, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at ST. PIUS X, 500 W Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. James Jugenheimer officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday morning, at St. Pius X, beginning at 9:00 AM until 11:15AM, with the mass to follow at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be at St. Joseph cemetery, Appleton.

    Kimberly - Rosemary Probst, age 95 of Kimberly, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born in Appleton on March 4, 1923, daughter of the late John and Katherine (Gengler) Baum. She grew up on a dairy farm and graduated from Appleton High School in 1940. As a young woman, Rosemary worked at Zwicker Knitting Mills in Appleton, and married Heraclus "Herk" Probst on November 10, 1945 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Rosemary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed many hobbies and crafts including needlework, decorating eggs, planting cacti, collecting glass paperweights and playing bingo. She had lived in Kimberly for 68 years and was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish. She also volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul.
    Survivors include three children: Kathleen (Daniel) Mitchell of Clintonville, Gerard (Jan) Probst of Appleton, and Diane (Paul) Jones of Holland, Michigan. Her grandchildren are Donald Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, Elizabeth (fiancé Christopher Parker) Mitchell, Michelle (Shawn) Gossen, Carie (Jim) Fischer, Candace (Randy) Pavlik, Cathy (Jeremy Lind) Rosenow, Zachary (Heather) Jones, Rebecca (Daryl) Callan, and Victoria (Evan Birnholz) Jones. There are also eleven great-grandchildren: Abbey, Avery, Aidan, Anna-Marie, Gavin, Josie, Hailey, Breahna, A.J., Loralei, and Aurora; and a sister-in-law: Patricia Baum. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herk, several brothers and sisters: Margaret (Tony) Vanderloop, George (Mars) Baum, Fr. John "Peter" Baum, Vincent (Beulah) Baum, and Raymond (Georgiana) Baum; and by Herk's family: John and Emma (Kurey) Probst, Jeanetta (Fred) Steffens, Leonard Probst, Archie (Margaret) Probst, Eugene (Virginia) Probst, and Beatrice Probst.
    The funeral liturgy for Rosemary will held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - HOLY NAME CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family members and friends are invited to gather at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    Margaret K. Meier, 85, Green Bay, died peacefully at a Green Bay on February 26, 2005, surrounded by family. Born on July 16, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Baum) Alesch. On May 29, 1941, she married Willard A. Meier in Appleton, he preceded her in death in 1994. Margaret devoted her life to her family, was an active swimmer, enjoyed playing cards, gardening, taking trips to Door County and times spent with her close friends at Cedar Lake Apartments. She was a lifetime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Green Bay. Margaret worked as a buyer for the Copps Corporation for 25 years until her retirement.

    Patricia (Patsy) Lynn Roche (Alesch) passed away Saturday, June 25 with family by her side. Patricia was born on December 12, 1935 to Arthur and Marcella (Koehnke) Alesch Patricia attended Catholic grade school in Appleton and Darboy then attended Kimberly High school and later continued her education at FVTC. Patricia resided in the Hortonville area where she worked at Hortonville Toy Factory, the Canning Company, and later at Pacon Corp. for many years where she was known as "Mother Superior". Patricia also worked at Bergstrom Paper and at American Can until she was injured. She also worked several jobs involving care for handicap and elderly. Patricia volunteered for Domestic Abuse, Harbor House, and the Humane Society. She volunteered with the belief that if only one life changed or one animal was saved, then it was worth her time. Her passion for animals caused her to have many pets of her own that were treated like Kings and Queens. Patricia loved to travel. Whether it was a trip in the country, Door County or to Germany, she always wanted to get out and see the sights. Patricia gave of herself to her children all her life. Caring for them especially when they had health issues, it was Mom to the rescue. She worried and cared until she couldnt anymore. No matter where she lived or worked, she touched others lives and made friends which include the many homes she lived in the past few years. Patricia is survived by her children Michael (Espi), Wichita Falls, TX., Bill (Pam), Mill Center, Jerry (Linda), Gresham, Randy (Nancy), Hortonville, Jeff(Debbi), Freedom, Debbie(fiancé-Mike), Madison, 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Suzanne (David) Heller and her nephews Mark and Danny Heller, and her longtime friend Katrina (Katie) Leon. We would like to thank Sharon and the girls at Greenville Manor where she enjoyed her friend Carlyle Manley (aka Grandpa Manley) with a game or two. We also would like to thank the caring and loving staff of St. Joe's Nursing Home in New London for all you did. A very special thank you to Dr. Price and especially Nurse Nancy for going above the call of duty. Whenever we needed your help, you were there!
