    Dolores E. (Biese) Veit
    219 Good Ave., ChiltonAge 73, died on Friday, April 6, 2001, at her home in Chilton. She was bo rn on July 11, 1927, in Appleton, daughter of the late Peter and Eleanor ( Salm) Biese. She married Gilbert A. Veit on October 1, 1946, at St. Mart in Catholic Church in Charlestown. This past October they celebrated the ir 54th wedding anniversary. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Churc h, Chilton, the VFW Women's Auxiliary, and the Calumet County Homemaker s. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; three children, Donna (Tim) Fo ster, Chilton; Darlene Veit, Champaign, Illinois; Kenneth (Diana) Veit, To mball, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Geri Ann Justinger, Amy Claren, Grant a nd Seth Foster, Erica, Jacki, and Taylor Veit, and Nick and Ben Broughto n, Rachel and Paul Cousert; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Justinger, Ev a, Christopher and Ella Claren; three sisters, Eleanor (Bob) Gebhart, Kei l; Betty (Don) Hennings, Elkhart Lake; Caroline (Clarence) Schneider, Chil ton; four brothers, Martin (Rogene) Biese, New Holstein; Kenneth (Betty) B iese, New Holstein; Clarence (Mary Jane) Biese, Chilton; Floyd (Bernice) B iese, Chilton; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Biese, New Holstein; Alvera (Leo nard) Mueller, Chilton; Alice (Veit) Kueler.     Martin Arnold Biese, age 86, passed on to a better world at Willowdale Nursing & Rehab Center in New Holstein on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. He fought a 6 year battle with cancer and multiple complications along the way. He was born on March 29, 1930 to Peter & Eleanor (Salm) Biese. He was the third oldest of twelve children. He attended St. Martin's and Lime Kiln schools.
    Farming was his passion and it began at an early age. On June 7, 1958 Martin married Rogene Brocker at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. The couple worked side by side for many years with their dairy herd. After the herd was sold it was replaced with boarding heifers and raising steers. He enjoyed hosting the Calumet County Twilight meeting one year as well as many Harvestore tours.
    Martin belonged to many farm organizations and the Chilton Eagles. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton, former member of St. Martin in Charlestown, and life time member of St Martin Heritage Park. Martin was a blood donator to the Red Cross and Community Blood Center until his health declined.
    He spent much of his time reading newspapers, farm magazines, and checking stock and grain markets on tv and online. One of his greatest pastimes was playing sheepshead with the card groups two or three times a week. In his free time, Martin did word searches, went on car rides around the countryside, and Gator rides to check out the crops.
    He is survived by his wife, Rogene of 57 years; daughter, Ann, of rural New Holstein; son, Tom, of rural New Holstein and his significant other, Amy Schwarz Waggoner and her children, Alex and Abby, all of Chilton; granddaughter, Marissa; her significant other Justin Chapelle, both of New Berlin; three brothers, Ken (Betty), Clarence (Mary), and Floyd (Bernice); two sisters, Betty Hennings and Caroline (Clarence) Schnieder; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Biese, Nancy (Stanley) Brocker of rural Kiel, and Nancy (Jim) Halstrom of Wilmington, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by his in-laws, Elmer (LaVerne) Brocker; three pre-term baby girls; three brothers, Roman, Richard, and Robert; three sisters, Dolores, Eleanor, and Bernice; three brothers-in-law, Robert Gebhart, Gilbert Veit, and Don Hennings; and three nieces, Sandy Biese, Jean Biese, and Bonnie Gebhart.
    Funeral Services will be at 11:00am on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main Street) in Chilton with the Rev. Ryan Krueger officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main Street) in Chilton from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, May 1, 2016. A parish vigil service will take place on Sunday evening at the close of the visitation.
    The family would like to extend a special thanks to Fr. Ryan Krueger, Dr. Goggins and staff, St. Elizabeth Hospital staff, Calumet Medical Center staff, and the entire staff at Willowdale Nursing & Rehab Center for the care and compassion shown to Martin, as well as, Calumet County Home, Health, and Hospice, especially Kristin and Faye, for the love and support shown to Martin and his family. All the prayers from friends and family helped us through this difficult time.
    In lieu of flowers we would invite donations for the Chilton Catholic School or St. Martin's Heritage Park in the name of Martin Arnold Biese.

    Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will follow in the St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in Charlestown.     Sandra Lynn Biese, 610 S. Main St., Brillion
    Age 35, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the Calumet Medical Center in Ch ilton. She was born January 28, 1966 in Chilton, daughter of Ruth (Becke r) Biese and the late Roman Biese. She worked at the New Hope Center in Ch ilton until August of 2000 when her health prevented her from working a ny longer. She loved music and being with her family, especially during sp ecial occasions like birthdays and holidays. She was a member of St. Ma ry Catholic Church in Chilton. Survivors include her mother, Ruth Biese, N ew Holstein; six sisters: Sharon (Allan) Behringer, Neenah; Janet (Dan) Ju nker, Sheboygan; Jean Biese, Sheboygan; Linda (Scott) Dolgner, Green Ba y; Carla (Mark) Kislewski, Fremont; Nicole Biese, Fond du Lac; nine niec es and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roman Biese on Oc tober 18, 2000. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 23, 20 01 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary New S.D.S. officiating. Crem ation will follow services with burial of her cremains in the parish cemet ery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St. in Chil ton from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. when family prayers will be held. In li eu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in the name of Sandy Bi ese. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Roa ds To Freedom Group Home in Brillion, the New Hope Center in Chilton a nd to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Calumet Medical Center for t he special love and care given to Sandy over the past years.

    Biese, Austin R.Austin R. Biese, age 4, of W4130 County F in Chilton, died on Thursday, Ma rch 9, 2006, at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born May 1 8, 2001 in Appleton, son of Robert of Lori (Stache) Biese.Austin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul and attended t he 4K preschool program at Chilton Elementary School. He loved playing wi th his tractors, Bob the Builder, and Thomas the Train. He also enjoyed he lping his parents feed calves, teasing the cats and dogs, and playing wi th his sisters.Survivors include his parents, Robert and Lori; his sisters, Amber and All ison Biese; grandparents, Clarence and Mary Jane Biese, Melvin and Julia nn Stache; aunts: Linda Stache and Kieth, Lois (John) Prust, Debra (Jim) H ooyman, Joan (George) Sweere, Connie (Brian) Moehn, Kim (Lance) Lisowe; un cles: Lloyd (Laurie) Stache, Lee (Tami) Stache, Kevin Biese, Keith (Ros e) Biese, Mike (Penny) Biese, Alan Biese, Brian Biese, Dan Biese; he was f urther survived by many cousins.
    Austin was preceded in death by a cousin, Adam Biese.Funeral Services will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2006 at Trinity L utheran Church in Rantoul. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Frien ds may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilt on from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2006 and on Monday at Church from 10 -11:30 a.m.Austin and his family were supporters of tissue donation and encourage oth er families to consider this option. Austin's gift was his eyes to help o ut others.
