    Martin Van Domelen, 93, Appleton, formerly of Little Chute, died Saturday, November 10, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born April 18, 1914, in Boyd, Wisconsin, son of Henry and Anna (Hermsen) Van Domelen. Martin married Evelyn Buss June 17, 1939, in Mackville and she preceded him in death September 19, 1986. He married Bernice Schoenke on April 26, 1988, in Appleton. Martin was employed as a Superintendent in the Machine Shop at Fox Tractor, Appleton, prior to his retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Appleton. He loved fishing on Lake Winnebago and enjoyed playing Sheephead.
    Martin is survived by his wife, Bernice Schoenke Van Domelen; his daughters: Janice (Keith) Reffke, Appleton; Carol (Robert) De Witt, Combined Locks; Diana (Orville) Plath-Stalzer, Winneconne and Judy Lauer, Menasha; his step children: David (Sally) Schoenke, Sue (Don) Jungen and Dick (Merry) Schoenke; 10 grandchildren: Kristin, Wendel, Kelly (Dan) Koszalinski, Kevin Reffke, Scott (Cassie) De Witt, Troy (Kelley) De Witt, Bobbi Jo (Ryan) Paschke, Nicholas (Molly) De Witt, Brian Lauer, Amy (Mike) Harp and Sarah Lauer; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Elaine Van Domelen, De Pere; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Witthuhn, Little Chute.
    Mr. Van Domelen was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and six sisters: Rose Schuh, Edward and John Van Domelen, Mary Stingle, Margaret Van Domelen, Lucy Steffens, George and Joseph Van Domelen, Martha Silwanowicz and Julia Witthuhn; a granddaughter, Tina Marie De Witt and a son-in-law, Richard Plath.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., Appleton, with Fr. Robert Karuhn and Deacon Dan Koszalinski officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established.
