    Lucile Johann, 80, Neenah, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1929, in Appleton, daughter of Alex and Caroline (Patsch) Hopfensberger. Lucile married Orville J. Johann, July 28, 1945.
    Lucile was an active 37 year member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, Neenah. She loved being a part of St. Gabriel parish, where she was a communion distributor, volunteer for the school hot lunch programs along with visiting and distributing communion to those in the nursing homes, which was dear to her heart. She also was the church picnic saddle bag chairperson, and baked countless pies and cookies for bake sales. She was well known for her bakery, and her cookies and pies were always the first sold at bake sales. Lucile was a true and faithful servant of the Lord. She had a deep faith and never questioned the difficult times, but rather trusted in God's plan. She lived her faith by example. She was happiest when she was bringing joy to others. Lucile was a charter member of the Larsen-Winchester Lioness Club, serving as secretary from 1987 to 2010. Through the Lioness Club, she was able to help support the needs of the entire community.
    Lucile is survived by her husband, Orville; two foster children: Pat Ermis, Ed L. Shukoski; children: Jerome (Marilyn) Johann; Carol (John) Mc Daniel; John (Carla) Johann; James Johann; Nancy Nespbor; Diane (David) Willing; Sharon (Joe) Lenard; grandchildren: Tammy (Mike) Mitchell; John Johann and special friend, Amanda; Andy (Anna) Johann; Tina Johann; Debbie Johann and fiance, James; Jessica (Chito) Hernandez; Renee Willing and fiance Darren; Alexa Mc Daniel; Alex Willing and special friend, Samantha; Lauren Lenard; great-grandchildren: Kyla Mitchell, Dylan Alverson, Chito Jr., Emilio and Viviana Lucia Hernandez, Zea Johann; sisters: Marian (Floyd) Thibedeau; Katherine Welhouse; brothers: William Hopfensberger; Ronald (Marliea) Hopfensberger; sister-in-law, Jeanette Kurtyka; brothers-in-law: Vernon (Marlene) Johann, Alden (Carol) Johann.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Gretchen Johann; infant sons, Orville Jr. and Joseph; a son-in-law, Peter Nespbor; sisters and a brother: Rosella, Barbara Anne and Richard Hopfensberger, Caroline Palmer, Virginia Lukeroth.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
    The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to Fr. Richard Allen; Dr. Ballard; Appleton Medical Center Intensive Care Staff, especially Frank and Richard (her chocolate man); Deacon Dvorak for all his love and support; her family and extended family, friends and neighbors for their support, kindness and being there during Lucile's illness.

    Catherine A. Welhouse, 79 years, passed away September 21, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born September 11, 1938 to her parents Alex and Caroline (Patch) Hopfensperger. Cathy was an employee of Presto Products and retired from there after 35 years of service as a Machine operator. She was a proud mother of three boys, Dick, David and Dean.
    Cathy loved to go for walks, many times, for miles. She would go with her boys, or dogs or whoever was available. She would keep tabs on her son David by travelling to the Air Force bases where he was serving in the US Air Force. She was kept in great health and comfortable care by her son Dean, at the home on John St. Often she would be listening to Bob Seager music to relax at home. Cathy was always interested in hearing about the activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Cathy will be missed by her sons David (Stephanie) Welhouse and Dean (Marisol) Welhouse, grandchildren Rick (Sandy) Welhouse, Becky (Lauren) Marshall, Alex Welhouse and Caroline Welhouse, great-grandchildren Dylan and Paige Welhouse; Zion, Chloe, and Caleb Cisneros; Trent and Nova Welhouse, siblings Marion (Floyd) Thibideau, Bill (Edna) Hopfensperger and Ronald (Marliea) Hopfensperger, and brother-in-law Orville Johann. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Alex and Caroline and her son Dick.
    A Memorial Mass for Cathy will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., Appleton. Private inurnment St. Margaret Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may gather in the Sacred Heart Room on Thursday from 9 am until time of Mass.
    A memorial in Cathy's name will be established.

    Dick Welhouse, age 57, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed by Hegele Logistics as a medical equipment installations team leader until his diagnosis in February 2012. Dick enjoyed fishing, watching the Packers and Badgers, weekend getaways, and spending time with his friends.
    He is survived by his girlfriend, Pam Heitman; her children: Zakary and Nikole Mackin, and granddaughter, Alexis Mackin; his children: Rick (Sandy) Welhouse and Becky (Lauren) Welhouse Cisneros; grandchildren: Dylan and Paige Welhouse; Zion, Caleb, and Chloe Cisneros; mother: Catherine Welhouse; and brothers: Dave (Stephanie) Welhouse and Dean Welhouse. Dick is further survived by a nephew Alex, great nephew Trent, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. "Hugs and Kisses" to Gary Fulcer, Kathy Scherg, Gary and Wendy Jansen, and Marty Jansen, who helped us through this journey till the end.
    A prayer service for Dick will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel. Inurnment will take place at St. Margaret Cemetery in Neenah. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
