    Obituary:
    Elaine M. Ruppel, age 85, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Bridgewood Nursing Home. Elaine was born on May 23, 1929, daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn Weyenberg. She graduated from Kimberly High School in 1947 and on July 17, 1948, she married the love of her life, Fred Ruppel, in a ceremony at Holy Name Catholic Church. Fred and Elaine shared 66 wonderful years of marriage.
    In Elaine's younger years, she enjoyed dancing, golfing and raising German Shepherds. She also enjoyed vacationing with Fred at their home in San Carlos, Mexico. As time passed, Elaine became an avid reader. She has a passion for the Lord and prayed the rosary several times a day. Above all, Elaine was a proud and protective mother who cherished the time she spent with her family.
    She is survived by her loving husband, Fred; her children, Chris (Bill) Resch of Neenah, Patti Kroner of Kimberly, Steve (Sue) Ruppel of Appleton and Frank (Sharon) Ruppel of Fond Du Lac. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Kelly, Charlie, Peter, Andy, Amanda, Michelle, Joe, Jordan, Jeremy, Rick, Carolyn, Becky, Jessie and Alex; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Van Gompel and Ann (Roy) Nackers; and brothers, Jack(Arlene) Weyenberg, Jerry (Barb) Weyenberg and Rick Weyenberg; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Rev. Donald Weyenberg and her son-in-law, Bill Kroner.
    The funeral liturgy for Elaine will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont Street, with Father Brian Wideman officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    The Ruppel family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Elizabeth Hospital, the Bridgewood Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice for all their care and support through this difficult time.

    Little Chute - Audrey Mary Van Gompel, age 86, of Little Chute, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 12, 1932, daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Gonnering) Weyenberg. Audrey married Richard "Dick" Van Gompel on February 13, 1952 and together they raised seven children in their home in Little Chute. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, golfing, playing cards and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
    Audrey is survived by her children: Dan (Sandy) Van Gompel, Dave (Mary) Van Gompel, Donna (Jack) Van Vreede, Diane Treankler, Doris (Al) Springstroh, Darlene (William) Berry and Denise (Brian) De Bruin; grandchildren: Craig, Brett, Derek, Dana, Ross, Lizzie, Danielle, Rachel, Tricia, Carley, Laura, Brooke, Cory, Karen, Hannah, Betsy, Danielle, Becky, Rhoda, Katie and Amanda; 22 great grandchildren; siblings: Jerry (Barb) Weyenberg, Raymond "Rick" (Mary Kay) Weyenberg, and Ann (Roy) Nackers; brothers and sisters-in-law: Marc (Mary) Van Gompel, Linda (Norb) Weyers, Peter Schmalz and Catherine Van Gompel; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Audrey was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, two brothers and a sister; Dick's parents, four sister in-laws and two brother in-laws; and a great grand-daughter.
    Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating.     Jack James Weyenberg, age 81, of Kimberly, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1933 in Kimberly to the late Ray and Evelyn (Gonnering) Weyenberg. Jack worked in the Kimberly Mill as a production scheduler for 45 years. He was a member of the Kimberly Volunteer Fire Department. Jack enjoyed cribbage, hunting, fishing, and being a handyman.
    Jack is survived by Arlene Weyenberg; daughters: Cindy (Al) Schmidt and Tammy (Tim) Jack; sons: Tim (Ann) and Jim (Julie); grandchildren: Bryan (Jessica), Leanne (Mike), Ryan (Becky), Crystal (Mark), Nick (Amber), and Luke (Katie); great grandchildren: Deanna, Aubree, Toby, Autumn, Summer, Evie, Ryan, Von, Emily, Ava, and Archer; brothers: Jerry (Barb), Rick (son Todd); sisters: Audrey Van Gompel and Ann (Roy) Nackers. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his brother Don, sister Elaine Ruppel, brother-in-law Richard Van Gompel, sisters-in-law Judy Weyenberg and Kathy Weyenberg.
    The prayer service for Jack will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 204 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with deacon Randy Haak officiating.
