    Glander, Dorothy M. (nee Belling)
    Dorothy M. Glander, age 90, of Huntington Woods, MI, passed away on March 23, 2008. She was born on July 17, 1917, to the late Frank and Dora (Casperson) Belling in Appleton, WI. Following her graduation from Appleton High School in 1935 she worked in the offices of Belling Transfer and W. S. Patterson. Dorothy had a good singing voice and was in many local variety shows. After her marriage to Wendell Siefferman in the late forty's she moved to Huntington Woods, MI, where she resided for the rest of her life. After Wendell's death she married James Glander in 1978 until his death in 1995. While living in Huntington Woods, she became an excellent medalist golfer. She loved boxer dogs and cared for many over the years. She also was very active in the Detroit Woman's Council of the Navy League of the United States and was elected their President from 1983-1985.
    Dorothy is survived by her nephews: Wayne Belling of Milwaukee, WI, and Charles Belling of Madison, WI, also Gloria and Linda Belling, Susan (Belling), Lauren and Mich Dillon.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Orville, Donald and Merland; her husbands: Wendell Siefferman and James Glander of Ohio.
    A graveside memorial service at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton, WI, will be announced at a later date. Memorials to the Humane Society in your area or the American Cancer Society would be very appreciated.
