    Military Service:
    U.S. Army Veteran (December 1942 to November 1945), earning the rank of Sergeant of the 101st Airborne, 327th Brigade, Glider Division. During the service he landed at Utah Beach in Normandy. Joe helped liberate Holland in Operation Market Garden (serving as a Dutch interpreter and communicator with government officials and farm families). He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and many other European operations. In 2005, Joe was honored by the Mayor of Veghel, interviewed on Dutch National Television, and featured in a Dutch-German book about soldiers in World War II.

    Joseph Dollevoet, 90, Little Chute, died at his home Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, with his family by his side. Joe was born March 9, 1918, in Kimberly, son of John and Wilhelmina (Vander Heyden) Dollevoet. He married Ursula "Sella" Jansen on May 10, 1941, and she preceded him in death Jan. 9, 2002. Joe was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, as well as the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258. Joe was employed at Appleton Coated-Combined Locks Mill from 1939 to 1981 and was a member of United Papermakers International Union 144. He was a U.S. Army Veteran (December 1942 to November 1945), earning the rank of Sergeant of the 101st Airborne, 327th Brigade, Glider Division. During the service he landed at Utah Beach in Normandy.     He enjoyed pitching horseshoes with Sella at Kamps Kovered Kourts. Joe was State Champion in Class D and was featured in The Post-Crescent July 2007 edition as the area's oldest horseshoe pitcher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and playing cards with his family and friends. He loved telling stories about life on the farm, World War II, escapades at work and at home. Joe enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers. He was able to see many games at Lambeau Field, several Braves games at Milwaukee County Stadium, and finally saw the Brewers win at Miller Park in July of 2007! Joe also enjoyed traveling to see friends, especially to Holland with his wife in 1982, and again with his daughter in 2005.
    Joe is survived by his children, Dick Dollevoet (special friend, Eileen), Little Chute; Jack Dollevoet (special friend, John), Kansas City, Mo.; Marty Dollevoet, Little Chute; Judy (Ron) Hooyman, Town of Lawrence; Joe (Mary) Dollevoet, Little Chute; grandchildren, Brian (Connie) Dollevoet, Brad (Sarah) Dollevoet, Nick (Carrie) Hooyman, Joe Dollevoet, Dani Dollevoet, Andy Hooyman (fiancee, Megann); great-grandchildren, Ellen (George), Katie, Kelly, Scott, Derek, Alex, Madison, Kamar, Elliana; sister, Ann Diedrich, Kaukauna; sisters-in-law, Ann Dollevoet, Kimberly; Delores Liesch, Grace Jansen, both of Little Chute; Carol Jansen, Neenah; Alvina Jansen, Kaukauna; brother-in-law, Marty Jansen, Little Chute; special friends, Gerrit and Coba Wiggelo, Geurt and Clazien VanRinsum, all of Holland; many nieces and nephews.
    Joe was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Pat Dollevoet; brothers, George (Martha), Bill (Agnes), Pete (Marie), Bart, Elmer (Betty) Dollevoet; in-laws, John (Lorraine) Jansen, Vin Jansen, Joe Jansen, Tony (Lee) Jansen, Gerald Jansen, Rana (Frank) LeNoble, Agnes (Chuck) Moeri, Gertie (Gordon) Marquardt, Norbert (Laverne) Jansen, Al Jansen, Sue Jansen.
    Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, with Fr. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the mass.
    A memorial is being established in honor of Joe.

    John Martin "Jack" Dollevoet, 67, passed away Saturday, March 22, after a brief illness. Jack was born Oct. 24, 1946, to Joe and Sella (Jansen) Dollevoet. He worked as a QA Tester at Appleton Coated in Combined Locks, WI, in 1965 and 1970-2001. He served in the U.S. Air Force 1966-1970.
    He was a union steward for United Papermakers International and became quite involved in the Democratic National Party. He attended President Jimmy Carter's inauguration in 1977.
    Jack moved to Kansas City, MO, in 2002 and made many friends. He served his church as a lay minister. He appreciated his church family, especially Lisa Park and Pastor Kurt.
    Jack was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, celebrating the team's wins with ice cream. He enjoyed word puzzles and trivia games.
    Jack is survived by his brothers and sister, Dick Dollevoet (special friend, Eileen), Judy (Ron) Hooyman, and Joe (Mary) Dollevoet; and nephews and niece, Brian (Connie) Dollevoet, Brad (special friend, Malory) Dollevoet, Nick Hooyman, Danielle "Elizabeth" (Juan) Polanco, and Andy (Megann) Hooyman. Jack loved being great and great-great-uncle to Ellen (George) and their daughters, Amara, Eva and Willa, Katie, Kelly, Scott, Derek, Alex, Madison, Kamar, Elliana, Mason and Zoey. He is further survived by aunt, Delores Liesch, uncle, Marty Jansen and many cousins and friends.
    Jack was preceded in death by his partner, John Norman; his parents, Joe and Sella; brother, Marty Dollevoet; sister-in-law, Pat Dollevoet; nephew, Joe J.A. Dollevoet; and numerous aunts and uncles.
    Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Spirit of Hope Metropolitan Community Church in Kansas City, Mo. A Wisconsin celebration of Jack's life and interment in St. John's Cemetery will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established to help area food pantries.
    Jack, we will miss your yuk-yuk laugh, Latin language expertise and your delight in bringing gifts of Kansas City barbecue sauces and rub.

    John M. "Jack" Dollevoet, 67, passed away Saturday, March 22, after a brief illness. The family is honoring Jack's life with a memorial gathering on Saturday, May 3 from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Hollander's in Little Chute. Please wear green-and-gold or red-white-and-blue to honor Jack's passion for the Packers and our country. Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John's Cemetery in Little Chute. A complete obituary was published in the Post-Crescent on March 27, 2014.

    Joseph J.A. Dollevoet, 30, of Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 1, 2013. He was born August 23, 1982, son of Joseph and Mary (Van Asten) Dollevoet. Joe attended St. John grade school and graduated from Little Chute High School, Class of 2001, excelling in football, basketball and baseball. Joe enjoyed working with his hands, and was employed as a construction worker at Fox Structures. He loved anything in the great outdoors, especially hunting, fishing or sitting outside around the campfire listening to country music. Most importantly, Joe loved his family and friends, and was especially proud to be an uncle to Kamar and Elliana. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Joe's name.
