    Cropsey, Esther E.Esther E. Cropsey, Rural Kaukauna, age 85, died Monday, February 14, 200 5, at the Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. Esther was bo rn in Shawano on March 28, 1919, daughter of the late William and Ellen (D ietzler) Baumgarten. On August 3, 1944, she married Roy Cropsey in Green B ay; Roy preceded her in death in February of 1995.Esther is survived by two sons: Gary Cropsey of Kaukauna and his special f riend Mary Jansen; Gale (Paula) Cropsey of Freedom; two daughters: Gwen (D an) Diny of Greenleaf and Gena (Paul) Pankratz of Green Bay; eight grandch ildren: Nathan (Wendy), Nick (Jill), Ben, and Sam Cropsey; Adam and Dean na Diny; Alex Pankratz; and Justin Jansen; two great-grandchildren: Luc as Cropsey and Maggie Esther Cropsey; three sisters and a brother: Marie F rank of Appleton; Raymond (Millie) Baumgarten of Kaukauna; Florence Anders on of Kaukauna; and Dorothy Milbach of Kaukauna; and a sister-in-law: Hel en Baumgarten.Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy in 1995, brot hers: Elmer (Fay), Bill, Bobby, Eddie (Carmen) and Marvin Baumgarten; a si ster Marian (Ken) Juse, and brothers-in-law Jerome Frank, George Anderso n, and Nick Milbach.The funeral service for Esther will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Februa ry 17, 2005, at the funeral home chapel with Fr.     Obituary:
    Raymond (Butch) Baumgarten, age 94, passed away at the American Grand Assisted Living Suites in Kaukauna on Monday, June 29, 2015 surrounded by three generations of his loving family. He was born in the town of Buchanan on March 6, 1921, son of the late William and Ellen (Dietzler) Baumgarten. In 1939, he worked as a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. On February 10, 1942, Ray married the former Mildred Bangart at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. From 1942 until 1943 he served in the United States Army, and then farmed in various parts of northeast and central Wisconsin until 1991 before retiring in Kaukauna. During those same years, Ray was also employed by Olson Trucking, Thilmany Pulp and Paper, Keller Implement, Berg Barn Equipment, Kaltenberg Seeds and Wollin Silos. Not only was Ray known for his life of hard, dedicated work, but also for his mischievous sense of humor, and his countless acts of service and kindness to both family and friends.
    Ray is survived by his wife, Mildred Baumgarten of Kaukauna; five children (and spouses): Mildred (Edward) Schilling, West Allis; James (Patricia) Baumgarten, Muskego; Jean (Paul) Kostuchowski, Plover; Linda (Jeffery) Akin, Wauwatosa; and William (Lori) Baumgarten, La Crescent, Minnesota; a former daughter-in-law, Judith Baumgarten-Novacek; seventeen grandchildren (and spouses): Ronald (Karen) Schilling, Karen Schilling, Paul (Jennifer) Schilling; Reanna Baumgarten, Deborah (Steven) Anderson, Nicole (Gregory) Goldberg; Jodi Kostuchowski, David (Jennifer) Kostuchowski, Joseph Kostuchowski; Michael (Cheri Wayerski) Baumgarten, Sara (Christopher) Heike, Matthew (Anne) Baumgarten, Sr. Karol Marie Baumgarten; Grant (Tabitha) Akin, Sean Akin; William (Jessica) Baumgarten, and Samantha (Joseph) Rigelsky; twenty-seven great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Kaylee, Sarah, Elise; Casey, Jenna, Gabrielle, Carmen; Aaron, Emily, Logan; Alexander, Brooklyn, Ava, Julia, Meredith, Everett; Ethan, Cael, Aiyana, Kalista, Dorian, Roman, Sailor, Gospel, Worthy, Oxton; and a great-granddaughter due in August!     The funeral liturgy for Ray will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. MARY SITE, 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday evening from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the GREENWOOD FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 500 Hendricks Avenue in Kaukauna, and again at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.     The family would like to offer our sincere thanks to everyone at the American Grand for the loving care offered to Dad. Florence married Geor ge Anderson, Sr. on August 8, 1940 and enjoyed 60 years of marriage unt il his death in 2000. She was a longtime member on St. Mary Parish and enj oyed cooking, gardening, walking, reading and her two dogs, Sari & Sami. S he worked as a cook for many years at the Kaukauna Hospital.She is survived by her four children, George E.     Dorothy L. Milbach, age 80, of Kaukauna, went home on November 9, 2011 to the Lord after many years of dealing with Lupus, she died from lung cancer. She was born on September 13, 1931 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Dietzler) Baumgarten. On May 1, 1950, she married Nicholas Milbach at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. She was a faithful member, taught CCD and was a Eucharistic minister at St. Katharine Drexel. Dorothy volunteered as a librarian at St. Mary School. Nicholas and Dorothy enjoyed camping, scouting and were very supportive of their children. Their home was always open for those in need.
    Dorothy is survived by her sons: Mike, Don and Todd Milbach; son-in-law: Joseph DeMars; grandchildren: Calvin and Kevin Milbach, Michelle (Scott) Schroth and Kaylyn Wolf; great grandchildren: Owen, Blair and Quinn Schroth; Jazalyn and Dionte Wolf; brother: Raymond (Mildred) Baumgarten and sister-in-law: Helen Baumgarten. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded by many family and friends, who we believe greeted her in Heaven. Dorothy joined her husband, Nicholas and daughter, Barbara DeMars, along with five brothers and four sisters.
    The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 14, 2011 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH, ST. MARY CHURCH, 119 W. Seventh Street, Kaukauna. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday at Fargo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
    Her life was a blessing to all who knew her. Lord, welcome her and keep her till we join her in Paradise.

    Karl J. Anderson, age 74 of Dale, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, March 21, 2016. Karl was born on September 16, 1941, in Kaukauna, WI the son of George Sr. and Florence (Baumgarten) Anderson. Karl graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1959, where he was a great athlete excelling in both track and volleyball. He then continued his education at Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point where he received a bachelor of science degree in Natural Science/Conservation in 1963. On June 6, 1964, Karl married Diane Rentmeester at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Green Bay. Karl started his teaching career at Mount Horeb High School, where he coached wrestling and football and then moved to Two Rivers teaching at Lincoln High School. Karl continued his education completing graduate work at both the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and University of Wisconsin-Stout. Karl concluded his teaching career at Fox Valley Technical College in Oshkosh and Appleton, where he retired in 2002 after 35 years.
    Karl's passion was the outdoors, which one could see portrayed through every aspect of his life. He enjoyed camping, hunting, spending time up north at the family cabin and working around the yard. Karl and Diane, his "Tweetie," traveled extensively throughout North America during their 55 years together; returning to their special, favorite spots. In recent years, Karl and Diane spent their winters in Golf Shores, Alabama. Since retiring, Karl began a new artistic hobby of hand carving walking sticks for friends and family as well as completing a childrens book. Karl will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor and special love for his family.
    Karl is survived by his wife, Diane; sons, Derek (Diane) Anderson and Aaron Anderson; grandsons, Dyllon and Wyatt Anderson; and brothers, George Jr. (Antoinette) Anderson and Dave (Pat) Anderson. He is further survived by brother and sister-in-laws, Janice (Bob) Anderson, Jim (Sandy) Rentmeester, Julie (Gary) Tilkens, Curt (Sue) Rentmeester, Gary (Ellen) Rentmeester, and Barbara (Dick) Leick; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    Karl is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Anderson-Offer and Susan Childs; father and mother in-law, Al and Ceil Rentmeester; and brother in-laws, Ronald Rentmeester and Kenneth Rentmeester.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 28, 2016, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, (105 N. Olk St.) Hortonville, with Msgr James Feely and Parish Director Greg Layton officiating. Family and friends are invited to visit directly at church Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

    Victoria "Vicki" E. Hermus, Age 61 of Kimberly, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, September 7th, after a courageous battle with a rare illness (Wegener's Disease). Vicki was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on June 8th, 1954. She grew up in Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1972. Vicki spent the majority of her life raising her children and caring for the children of others.
    Vicki loved her family more than anything in the world. The greatest gift she gave to everyone was her unconditional love and support. There was never a time you walked away from her without knowing you were truly loved and cared for. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her will always remember her for her generosity and kindness.
    Vicki was an amazing cook and she loved to travel with her husband. They especially enjoyed their many trips to Hawaii.
    Vicki is survived by her husband and best friend of 43 years, Jim, her children Tammy (Mike) Van Eperen, Troy Hermus and Tracy (Luke) Haas; Grandchildren, Brody, Trevor and Victoria Van Eperen and Asher, Esten and Veneda Haas; her brother Brian Baumgarten and nephew Nathan Baumgarten; Mother-in-law, Alice "Honey" Hermus, brothers and sisters-in-law Sandy (Joe) Ver Voort, Jeff (Rose) Hermus, Sue (Terry) Jansen, Ron (Susan Pearl) Hermus, Rick (Cheryl) Hermus, Ken (Nora) Hermus, Greg (Debra) Hermus, Russ (Amy) Hermus, Terry Hermus (Special friend, Katie Hietpas), cousin Ursula Miller, and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews who were all so special to her.
    Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Carmen Baumgarten, and her Father-in-law, John Hermus.
