Obituary:
Judith "Judy" Ann (Wisneski) Doughty, age 70, New London passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Appleton Medical Center. Judy was born on August 6, 1941, in Waupaca, daughter of the late Clarence and Anita (Seelig) Wisneski. She lived in Appleton most of her life and married Richard Doughty on September 20, 2003 and they made their home in New London for the past 9 years. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with them especially going to their sports events. Judy loved gardening, finding recipes and cooking for Dick. She enjoyed fishing on Rolling Stone Lake, watching the Brewers, Packers, and NASCAR. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bear Creek and volunteered often at church and many other organizations.
Judy is survived by her husband Dick, her children, Lynn (Henry) Coonen, Combined Locks; Larry (Elizabeth "Liz") De Bruin, Neenah; LuAnn (Keith) Ziebell, Neenah. Step-son, Dan (Meloney) Kuenne, Medford; step-daughter, Ruth (Dale) Zirngible, Medford. Grandchildren: Kristy and Ryan Coonen, William, John and Jessica De Bruin, Sam and Max Melzer and Ashley and Brandon Ziebell. Step-grandchildren, Katy, Alex, Emily, Ray, Amanda, Samantha and Tabby. Sisters, Marilyn (Jerry) Treichel, Freedom, Carole Rikard, Trinity, AL; brothers: Alan (Barbara) Wisneski, Quemado, NM; Michael (Diane) Wisneski, Lomira; Jim (Patti) Wisneski, Mountain and Steve (Connie) Wisneski, Green Bay. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Lloyd De Bruin, father of their children and a brother-in-law, Hubert Rikard.
Funeral services for Judy will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, E8010 State Rd. 22, Bear Creek with Rev. Matthew Ruesch officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff on the 7th floor of Appleton Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, trust in God, trust also in Me. In my Fathers house are many rooms, if it were not so I would have told you, I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that also you will be where I am.
