  Missing - From Volunteer Lookup researcher; I checked the PROGRESS newspaper and didn't see an obit. Winnie generally carries the same news, etc. and nothing there either. The death certificate shows that he was married but didn't list her name. Maybe she moved or re-married ? I contacted several people at Smith Point about Snow but no returned calls yet. He was pretty young and I wonder if his accident was really a suicide ? I'll send what I have and keep this request on file. If I find anything else, I'll forward. I did find a Norman Lee Snow living in Alabama before 1960 but the parents names are different. Did they die and Norman move in with other relatives ?
  Other Info or Events	Per ex-wife Donna, died in a car accident in Texas. Had birth date of 10/15/1948, but changed to date on death record of 10/18/1947. Random acts of genealogy kindness lookup Peter Stines [mailto:pete1832@hotmail.com] I finally got in touch with some folks who knew Norman. He worked for Ben Nelson in Smith Point doing commercial fishing. BUT Norman wasn't calling himself "Snow" instead it was "Odem". Does this mean anything ? A nick-name perhaps ? At any rate, he was living in his car at the time. When he died his body wasn't found until about three days later. Ben Nelson thought he was about 50 years old at the time. No property and nobody knew he had been married or had a child. Was he divorced or did he just separate from his spouse ? Norman's parents must have paid to have his body sent home to be buried. No photos of him.
