  Funeral services for LeRoy Conant, 61, of Black River Falls, who passed away Tuesday evening, September 9, 1958 at the Krohn hospital will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 13, from the Hixton Methodist church with the Rev. Wayne Grover officiating. Interment will be made in the Sechlerville cemetery. Friends may call at the Jensen Funeral Home all day Friday. The Hanson Lien American Legion Post of Hixton-Taylor will participate in the service. Born December 19, 1896 at Hixton, he was a veteran of World War I and had farmed in the county up until three years ago when he retired and moved into Black River Falls. He is survived by his wife, Laura; four sons, Vernon of Alma Center; Roy of Appleton, Robert and Raymond at home and one daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Raymond Nieman of Stevens Point, as well as two brothers, Ernest of Black River Falls and George of Key West, Florida and one sister, Mrs. Mae Jarrett of Hixton. He is also survived by one grandchild. Obituary found in the Banner Journal, Black River Falls, Wisconsin, September 10, 1958.
