  Lester L. Meyer Jr. 'Les', 69, Appleton, passed away July 7, 2011 after a brief illness. Les was born February 8, 1942 in Appleton to the late Lester and Harriet Meyer. He was united in marriage to Sharon Rose Olson April 20, 1963. He was a father of four and a grandfather of four. He especially enjoyed spending time in Carter, WI with his family, friends and dog, Teddy. He will be missed by his children: Dawn (Tom) Dwyer, Menasha; Brenda (Mark) Mayer, Appleton; Dan Meyer, Appleton and Todd Meyer, Black Creek; grandchildren: Derrick Tesch, Hilbert; Breanna Dwyer, Little Chute; Dan Dwyer, Menasha and Dylan Mayer, Appleton; brother, John Meyer; sisters: Kathy (Marty) Abel and Caroline (Mel) Hall. Les was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sharon. A Memorial service for Les will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, July 11, 2011 at the funeral home with Chaplain Brad McIntyre officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Carter, WI. Friends may visit the family from 4 - 7 pm Monday.
