  Ramona D. Moser, age 77, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Ramona was born November 19, 1930, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Franklin and Lula (Peters) Diestler Sr. She resided in Appleton all of her life and was employed at Appleton Wire Works for 20 years, retiring in 1985. On August 14, 1965, Ramona was united in marriage to Alfred W. Moser, sharing 15 years together before his death in 1980. Survivors include a daughter Kathleen (Raymond) Miller, Hortonville; a grand daughter, Tracy (Richard) Tess, Redlands, CA; two sisters: Marie Krause and Linda Spielmann, both of Appleton; a brother, Franklin (Jo Ann) Diestler Jr., Greenville; other relatives and her beloved cat Sam. In addition to her parents and husband, Ramona was preceded in death by an infant brother Chester Diestler. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Monday, August 18th at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leon Knitt officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 4 p.m. Monday until the time of the service. Ramona will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park. A memorial fund has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fox River Assisted Living, Dr. Nancy Homburg and to the nurses and staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital for the wonderful care they provided Ramona.
