  Robert B. "Copper" Vanderwalker, age 86, of Weyauwega, died on Monday, May 28, 2007, at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. He was born on March 21, 1921, in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, the son of the late Raymond and Alpha (Carlson) Vanderwalker. On October 3, 1952, he married Mary Jensen at First Presbyterian Church in Neenah. Copper worked as a photographer for The Appleton Post-Crescent for 30 years. He was an avid golfer, loved sports and his dogs. Copper is survived by his wife, Mary, two sisters, Jean(Claude)Williams, Neenah, Alice(Bruno)Meyer, Washington, a step-daughter, Patricia(Tom)Geibel, Menasha, a step-son, Tom(Darlene)Ales, Larsen, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, Suzanne Schaumann, Menasha, Patricia Lalley, Appleton, Barbara Garcia, Albuquerque, NM, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home in Fremont. Rev. Alex Tychkin will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
