She was born May 18, 1917, in Combined Locks, daughter of John and Hatt ie (Vanden Boom) Schampers. Rosella married Clement Verbeten, May 19, 193 6, at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, and were lifetime partners f or 65 years. She was a member of St. John's Parish. She and her husband ow ned and operated Clem and Rose's Bar in Little Chute. She enjoyed cookin g, baking and also loved crafts.Rosella is survived by her husband, Clement; a daughter, Mary (Thomas) Sch midt, Darboy; a son, Gerry (Elizabeth) Verbeten, Libertyville, Illinois; f ive grandchildren, Timothy (Dana) Verbeten; Daniel Verbeten; Emily, Allis on and Nicholas Schmidt; a great-grandchild, Morgan Verbeten; a brother, A lfred (Billie) Schampers; a sister-in-law, Rita Schampers; many nieces, ne phews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brother s, Clarence and Leo Schampers; Ernie (Lorraine) Schampers; Vincent (Ion e) Schampers; and a sister, Ann (Russell) Frost.The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Francisc an Care Center for their love and support.Your love of holidays, your wonderful meals, and your infinite love for yo ur grandchildren will be greatly missed. We love you Mom.Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2001, at S t. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen o fficiating.
