Age, 83, of Greenville, passed away at his residence on Friday March 11, 2016. He was born on July 24, 1932 in New London, son of the late Ray & Olga (Luther) Riedl. Royce served his country in the U.S. Army in Okinawa, Japan from 1952 to 1954. On November 27, 1952 he was united in marriage to Betty Myers in Appleton. She preceded him in death in 2009. Royce was a well known painter and decorator in the Fox River Valley. He enjoyed going to watch truck pulls with his wife Betty. He was always busy working or painting something. Royce is survived by two daughters, Julie (Greg) Gorges, New London, Rhonda Riedl, Appleton. Two sons, Thomas Riedl, Greenville, Mark (Julie) Riedl, Hortonville. One sister, Gloria Arnold, Green Bay. A brother-in-law, Franklin Nelson, Hortonville. Three grandchildren, Tim (special friend Kathy), Tony, Jay. One great grandson, Cody. He is further survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his special cat Sweetie. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son Randy. The Funeral Ceremony for Royce will be held at 11:00a.m. Monday March 14, 2016 at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with Greg Layton officiating. Interment will be in the Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery in Hortonville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00a.m. until the time of service.
